Vegan Chef Charlise Rookwood aka. Vegan Soulicious makes her Grandmother’s Jamaican Pineapple Tea 🇯🇲.
• Pineapple skin washed
• 1 cup peppermint leaf
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• Fresh ginger root
• 1 Lemon
• 1/4 cup organic sarsaparilla
• Boil it all up for around 90 mins, take off the heat and let it sit overnight and strain in the morning!
I wanted to get every bit of juice out of my pineapple skins so I used my @purejuicer but you can use a potato masher to mash down the pineapple skin and then strain the liquid off. 🍍💪🏾🍍
Add Agave or coconut sugar to taste if you wish!
Drink it hot or chilled in the fridge 🌱
These ingredients are so beneficial at this time of the month ladies 🥰
